DiveSafe Phuket  – Terms and Conditions

We accept payments by Visa, MasterCard, Amex, DCI, JCB cards, UnionPay, Alipay, and WeChat Pay via Online Payment System. We also accept cash, PayPal and all the above in our shop in Chalong Phuket. We also accept Direct bank transfers, please inquire about our bank information.
For international bank transfers, all fees are to be paid by the Payer/Customer.

Day Trips and diving courses terms, payment conditions, cancellations.

• Day trip and/or diving course bookings are confirmed only after payment is received.
• Any National Marine Park fees are payable on the boat in cash. This fee is subject to change without notice and is controlled by the Thai authorities.
• Cancellations must be made in writing, by email no less than 24 hours before the date of the day trip or course, and are eligible for a full refund, minus bank/credit card charges, other related charges and any losses incurred due to the currency rate fluctuation. 
• Less than 24 hours before the day trip: No Refund.
• Less than 24 hours before the course: Full Refund less 4500 baht per person.
• For no-show: No Refund
• If the trip is cancelled due to severe weather conditions, or reasons outside of our control and we are unable to offer you an alternative, then we will refund the full payment less the bank/credit card charges, other related charges and any losses incurred due to the currency rate fluctuation. 

Liveaboard Terms, Payment, Cancellations.

Payment conditions:

• A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, for any reservation made more than 90 days before the departure date.
• Reservations made in less than 90 days before the departure date, must be paid in full. 
• If for any reason, we do not receive the balance before the due date, we will cancel your booking. Any deposits paid: No Refund.

Liveaboard Cancellations:

• Cancellations made in writing, by email no less than 45 days before the departure date are eligible for a full refund minus a 10% handling fee, bank/credit card charges, other related charges and any losses incurred due to the currency rate fluctuation.
• Cancellations made in less than 45 days: No Refund. 

 Insurance :

• Dive & Travel Insurance are compulsory for all Liveaboard trips. Please check your travel insurance policy for your diving needs. If you are not covered, we recommend DAN (Divers Alert Network) (dan.org), or Dive Assure which provide comprehensive dive accident coverage.
• When taking scuba diving courses, students are covered by SSI and PADI insurance. 

Force Majeure:

• The Liveaboard Operator Company reserves the right to modify, delay and/or cancel diving arrangements where the remoteness or inaccessibility of the diving destination, local custom, fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster, war, political unrest and other hostilities regardless of whether war is declared, or other technical or mechanical difficulties cause the arrangements to become unsafe, perilous and/or impracticable.
• Where adverse weather conditions prevail, making it dangerous or inadvisable for customers or the boat to land on and enter the port, the captain shall reserve the right to postpone sailing until more favourable conditions prevail. This may involve an adjustment to the itinerary, which may result in a cancellation of landing in a certain port, and/or the re-sequencing of island visits.

• We do not actively track you.
• We do not store your credit, or debit card information. or any other information in relation to your payment.
• We use Google Analytics for optimizing our website, it is anonymous.
• We do not share your information with anyone except SSI and PADI when you enrol in scuba diving courses for the purpose of certification. 
• We share with SSI and PADI: your full name, your DOB {date of birth}, your email, your address, your Country of Residence , and your preferred language.
• We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
